In 2022, we introduced the #REAHHM12 prototype, a financial technology service
that recognizes sign language.
The letters and numbers in the solution name have special significance: HM refers to the
interaction between humans and machines, while the significance of the number 12 relates
to the South African Sign Language (SASL) as the 12th official language.
This pioneering communication tool leverages Sign Language AI and integrates seamlessly
with ATMs and self-service platforms to provide an inclusive and accessible experience
to all our customers.
