Sign Language in the Workplace

Approximately 1 million of the South African population rely on South African Sign Language as a form of communication. In the modern world, the workplace environment is dominated by spoken language, and at REAH, our people continues to change our perspective to foster greater inclusion and diversity in the office.

  • implementing measures that go beyond the legislative requirements (internship, digital skills, job opportunities)

Digital Skills

In accordance with UN SDG 4 explicitly highlights the importance of lifelong learning opportunities for all. Future Coding (REAH sister company) is teaching coding to Deaf students and helping them find work.

The Future Coding initiative has reached 80 young people in South Africa between 2017 to date.
